A standard GP referral is sufficient for all initial consultations. Please fax or email referral letters to the contact details above.

Urgent Referrals

For urgent or semi-urgent referrals — including haematuria, acute urinary retention, suspected malignancy, or post-operative concerns — please call the rooms directly on (02) 9098 9351 and ask to speak with our nurse or practice manager. We accommodate urgent patients promptly.

Multidisciplinary Team (MDT)

Our urologists are active members of the Prince of Wales Urological Cancer MDT, which meets on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. Complex oncology cases are discussed at MDT prior to treatment. Referral to the MDT can be arranged via CanRefer.

Telehealth

Telehealth consultations are available for appropriate cases — including initial consultations for patients outside Sydney, review appointments, and follow-up care. Please request telehealth at the time of booking.

Private & Public Patients

We see both private patients (all health funds accepted) and public patients through Prince of Wales Public Hospital. Public referrals should be directed to the Prince of Wales Urology outpatient department.

Correspondence

Consultation letters are sent to the referring doctor within 48 hours of each appointment. For urgent correspondence, please call the rooms directly.
